In 2016, the legendary DEATH DTA show will be brought back to life. With their upcoming 2016 Tour European Thought Patterns , DEATH DTA are going to pay tribute to the music and legacy of Chuck Schuldiner playing all of your favorites off all of the Death albums and add some new exicting places to their map of conquest.
The line up will be as huge as in 2015: Steve Di Giorgio ( Death,Testament, Sadus), Gene Hoglan (Death,Testament, Dark Angel), Bobby Koelble (Death) and Max Phelps (Exist) have joined forces to resurrect those iconic songs, along with many more mile stones from DEATH’s history.
German progressive metal masters OBSCURA will complete this package and present their eagerly awaited 4th studio album “Akroasis“. Five years after the highly acclaimed “Omnivium“, OBSCURA are providing a strong and dynamic piece that will add some new facets to contemporary death metal.

Progressive German death metal band ALKLOID had their first show in Cairo, Egypt last Thursday. It was also be the first time a Death Metal Band from Germany performed in Egypt ever. Despite their philosophically controvertial approach to lyrics, the band decided to pick Cairo as one of the places to give their live premiere.
Drummer Hannes Grossmann (Blotted Science, Ex-Obscura, Ex-Necrophagist) explains:
“We think that Metal is definately a global phenomenon. ALKALOIDS music to us is something which hopefully could enable people to transcend cultural and religious barriers, to connect people from all areas of the world by using one unique language – which is made by tones and rhythm. We also think that metal has to be brought to those people who are still hungry for hearing new and exciting things. For doing so, Cairo is the perfect place. We definately look forward to play and we’re are very proud to be the first metal band from Germany to perform live in Egypt.”
ALKALOID was also shooting their first video in Cairo with Egyptian artist and musician Nader Sadek.
Alkaloid is proud to announce their first live appearances.
Their first show will be in Ireland. Alkaloid is headlining the “Perverting The Innocent” Festival in Dublin, Ireland on the 12th of September. There are going to be warm up shows in Limerick and Galway on Sep 10th and 11th.
Not even a week later they will perform in CAIRO, Egypt – alongside Aborted, Nader Sadek and Sallos. The band is also preparing to shoot a music video in Cairo.
